Hi everyone!
To my wonderful friends Lins and Rach all my love and luck goes out to you this week. You are going to be amazing! I am so proud of you. I will talk to the both of you very soon :)
Luke welcome home! I promise I will be replying back to your letter very soon. I hope you are quickly adjusting to normal life.
I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July. Here in Liberty as missionaries it was just another day. However, it was our p-day so we tagged along with the Elders and ended up in Holt Missouri. We went to one of the member's home where there were a few lakes, swimming pool, tennis court, basketball court and movie theater...just to name a few. But of course we stuck to the missionary rules and just played basketball. I am a terrible basketball player and just look like an idiot while playing. My companion however is the next female version of Koby Bryant. It was a fun day.
This week has been hot, exhausting and wonderful. We were able to pull together Michael and Brittany's wedding this past Saturday. Although it was very simple they were so happy. They are a wonderful couple and we are excited to continue assisting in Michael's progress toward baptism.
Working at the Jail continues to get better or easier I should say. It still stresses me out but it is wonderful! I think the largest tour group I have had is around 40 people. Man who would have thought? If I wasn't a missionary I know I wouldn't be able to do half of what I'm doing now. Heavenly Father really does look out for his children. As I continue to serve here I have realized more and more how much I hope those visiting the jail are able to feel the spirit. The spirit is truly the power of conversion. I love being able to see people touched by it. To know that I am able to be apart of such history is so amazing. I am blessed beyond what I deserve.
Our visitor’s center director showed us today the new missionary dress standards that are found on LDS.org. Okay why did that not come out before I left? We are all going to look homeless compared to the new sisters that will be arriving. So sad.
We meet our new Mission President, Elder Keyes this coming Thursday during Zone Conference. I am excited. From what I've heard he and his wife are wonderful. It's weird to think that President and Sister VanKomen aren't around anymore. Missionary time really does fly.
I love being here in Liberty. I love my companion. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. My life has become so much better because of it.
Thank you for your examples, support and prayers.
Have a wonderful week. Be safe.
Sister Hall
