Hello Everyone!

So much has happened! Transfer calls came and just as I had expected I was no longer staying in Junction City. You will never ever guess where I was sent. I couldn't believe it! Give up? Liberty, Missouri and serving in the Historic Liberty Jail. Oh my goodness! To know that I was called to serve here out of 48 other sisters is amazing. I absolutely love it here. It was hard to leave Junction City, saying goodbye to little Lainey was heartbreaking, but I truly couldn't be happier. To know that I am able to spend half of each day in the jail and to feel of such a unique spirit is such a privilege.

I gave my first official visitors center tour yesterday after a few days of shadowing. I thought I might pass out or have a heart attack. Luckily, the sweet elderly couple (they were returning home from their mission in Atlanta) was beyond nice and understanding of my mistakes. I'm 105% positive that I was a fool most of the time but hope that they felt the spirit. I still can't believe I am here. The history I have to memorize and convey to other people is super intimidating but, I have realized I was put here for a reason. The Lord knows where I needed to be and how to stretch me; the jail is definitely doing that. Being put into a new area and completely different circumstances is like I've started my mission all over again but, I am here and I love it. The Lord has truly blessed me.

The ward I am serving in is beyond amazing. I have received such a great welcoming from the members. I feel so blessed. My amazing companion is Sister Fie’eiki (she's Samoan/Tongan). She is seriously a rock star. I love her. She's from LA (Redondo Beach? I think...?) and will hit her year mark this week. (I hit 5 months yesterday!! Crazy!) Another month and I will be a 3rd of the way done with my mission. When did that happen?

Our little house is right behind the jail (super convenient) and we live with 2 other companionships. We share a room with Sister Juergens and Sister Rupper. Sister Juergens is possibly the most beautiful person on the planet. She's a Cougarette. The other companionship consists of the one and only Sister Nuckles (my first companion :) I get to spend her last transfer with her) and Sister Whittier (she and I came out together). I seriously can't believe how blessed I am to be here with these 5 wonderful girls. They are so amazing.

Now that our proselyteing time is cut in half the time is a lot more precious. We have some great investigators and an amazing ward. I get to attend my first wedding on Saturday for our investigator Michael and Brittany. (She is the member) The Bishops wife is putting it together and so Sister Fie’eiki and I get to help decorate and plan. It’s going to be beautiful.

I know there are about 500 other things I wanted to tell you but, unfortunately I can't think of what they are. So forgive me but know that I am so happy. I hope mission life never ends. This is exactly where I want to be.

Thank you for all the support, blessings and prayers. I love you all. Have a wonderful week. :)

PS. If anyone would like to head out to Missouri and stop by the jail just let me know. I would love to see you (yes family that includes you.... :) ) Oh and tell Rita Stevenson that I finally met the Sinclairs. They are so sweet! The senior Couples here are beyond amazing. I love them.
