Hi Everyone.
So to begin I will start with my one tragic morning. We had zone conference in Wichita and drove there last Tuesday; a day after the "all Sister Conference" (which was amazing). We stayed at the same member's house  as we have once before. It's in a really nice neighborhood. When we were putting our stuff in the car to head over to the church Wednesday morning sister Nuckles and I noticed something weird. It took a minute to register, but then we saw that our back, passenger side, window had been smashed in! Suddenly, I realized I had left my bag in the car under the seat....and there was definitely no bag in the car anymore. My bag was stolen! :( It was a very sad moment. Everything is gone; my MTC scriptures, study journal, camera (I'm so sorry Mom), new prescription glasses, preach my gospel book, CTR ring and other little odds and ends. I couldn't believe it. I guess it makes for a good mission story and now I know why I brought my old scriptures with me.
That was probably the most eventful day of the week. However, the Sister Conference and Zone Conference were wonderful. Being with the Sisters was amazing. I already have such a love for them. The spirit was like nothing else I've felt. One Sister serving is from Cedar City and has cancer. She has had it since she was 14 years old. She receives chemo every Thursday. On top of that her Grandma just died of the same cancer a few weeks ago, and she was just recently dumped by her long time boyfriend. But here she is, serving a faithful mission, regardless of her trials. Compared to all of that, my life looks like a piece of cake. I admire her so much. I truly can not wait to have the opportunity to serve in the Visitors Center with all the Sisters.
Zone Conference was also great. President and Sister VanKomen are so wonderful. They bring a spirit that only a mission president can bring. He asked us to read a talk by Elder Hales on gaining a personal testimony. I would encourage you all to read it.
So attending both of the conferences almost made my stolen bag worth it. I'm more sorry for you Mom and Dad. I'm so sorry. It breaks my heart to think about it. But who knows.... maybe someone will be converted from stealing my stuff!
We are pushing Shane's baptism back. He just isn't quite ready. Hopefully soon.
We have yet to find new people to teach but are always looking.
A man wearing spurs was just in the Library! Only in Kansas.
Regardless of the slammed doors and stolen bags I still have my Testimony. I know that this is the true church and I love being here. Being a missionary is so hard but so worth it.
I love you all. Thank you for the support and prayers. Enjoy each day.
This email is kind of a 'fail' this week. I promise to do better next week.
Talk to you then. You are all in my prayers.

Love,

Kenz (Sister Hall)
