Hi! Mom breath! I'm alive. Stop worrying. We don't have P days until Thursday and don't get them the first week.
I really don't know where to begin. I have so much to tell you and only have twenty minutes to do it. (the computer cut my time in half for being slow)
Lets see......my companion is Sister Kennach. Her first name is Logotiaho or something to that spelling effect. She was born in Samoa but moved to Washington when she was 7. She will be serving her mission in Guam. I know, its super cool and I'm kind of jealous. She's been super nice. Spending every moment of every day with someone is hard to get use to. We always have to be in sight and sound of each other so that makes trips even into another classroom difficult. Its like having a shadow with you always but it never goes away. I'm still adjusting. She has forced me to remove myself from the shy shell I have built. During our mock investigator teaching lessons she decides to not talk very often, forcing me to make up for it. All of that though is a story for another day. Overall she really has been great.
My district consists of 7 Elders and then Sister Kennach and I. So yes, I am the only sister currently heading to Missouri. The Elders are all fun, but I forgot what 19 year old, just out of high school, boys are like. However they are all fun and make "personal study time" interesting.
Um...what else? Everyone says that the days feel like weeks and weeks feel like days. Its so true. But the MTC is an amazing place. I have learned so much here and taken so much in and have only been here a week. (not being the new kids anymore makes you feel real old)
Ah I only have 8 minutes!
The first day here was the hardest day ever. I think I cried more and slept less that night than any other night in my 21 years. But the next day came and no tears were shed. I remembered why I decided to come and am grateful for the opportunity.
Thank you for all the letters and packages I have received. I had no idea mail could be so fun. (if I haven't written you back yet it is coming. Promise)
I love you all so much.
Mom, dad, kade, and brooke. I love you.
Love, Sister Hall.
ah, she sounds so great! :)
